INTERESTING AND FABULOUS PARTZArtfull Zone Digital Design Papers
Because you know that your project can only be as interesting and unique as the materials you use.
These papers are original designs and fractal images by Myra Anson Nicholas, here called digital paintings, created in photoshop starting back in 1993... They are then output on a variety of media, depending on what suits the project. A number of these digital paintings exist in high-resolution, so the detail and intensity of the image can be pretty amazing. ALL DESIGNS are available on media listed below and as watch faces. If you've seen it on this site, or linked to it and it has a name, then we have it available for you. Our design library keeps growing, but we've tried to put at least 100 of them in thumbnail form for you to view. Please check with Myra for color modifications, special media, interesting applications and just about anything. And yes, you can output the designs on T-shirt transfer paper or shrink plastic and both will work quite nicely, although not quite as you would imagine. (the transfer isn't as sharp and the shrink plastic is incredibly vivid)
Papers are currently available in the following form:
20# bond--for paper beads, fans, water-based decoupage. Designs are
output onto a partial rag content 20# bond. Depending on the intent, we can use colored papers, or white. In the chart
below, varying the color of the paper makes the designs more interesting.
This paper, when dipped into Myra's easy non-toxic "secret sauce" (see
How to make paper beads for the recipe), will brighten up & get "crispy".
The dipping liquid "plasticizes" the paper and makes the bead quite hard.
